The key to healthy living is a health and wellness lifestyle. Many general health problems and health fitness problems are due to lack of exercise, smoking, too much alcohol intake and stress. Good health and fitness lifestyle improves your general health, reduces your risk of getting diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hypertension makes you look and feel better about yourself, enables you to have more stamina and energy to enjoy life. You should also eat enough health products and natural health food supplements on top of a variety of healthy food that supplies all natural health supplements your body needs.

Healthy Eating Guide

Healthy eating promotes general health wellness. A healthy meal plans and healthy eating guide is part of healthy living. Use the healthy eating pyramid as your health eating guide to a healthy diet. There are 4 groups of food in the Food Pyramid: Group 1- cereals, cereal products and tubers (eat most), Group 2 - fruits and vegetables (eat more), Group 3 - milk, yoghurt and cheese, fish, poultry, meat and legumes (eat moderately), Group 4 - fats, oils, salt and sugar -( eat less). Healthy eating plans and healthy diet include eating nutrituous healthy foods to meet your daily requirements. Choose food low in sugar, salt and fat, eat more fruits and vegetables, drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily, choose clean food premises, cook with less oil, salt and fat, example steam, boil, grill, bake, broil, choose clean and safe food. Start your day with a healthy breakfast. Have 3 main meals a day on time - breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening. Choose healthy snacks. Take healthy snacks between meals.

Healthy Weight

Ensure you have a healthy weight. Follow a healthy weight loss program. Weigh yourself regularly. Know your Body Mass Index (BMI) to know whether you are under, over or have a healthy body weight. Achieve and maintain healthy body weight for good health. BMI = Weight (kg) divided by ( Height(m) x Height(m) ). If your BMI is less than 18.5, you are underweight, 18.5 to 24 means healthy weight, 25 to 29 BMI is overweight, 30 and above means you are overweight.

Health Fitness

Fitness and health are inter-related. Be physically active as part of a healthy lifestyle. Physical activity involves all movement of your body in your daily life which uses energy such as work, recreation, exercise and sports. Physical activity is important for your health fitness.
